In a first collaboration of its kind in blockchain technology, Ferguson – one of the largest producers and distributors of consumer electronics smart home solutions, will implement the SmartKey DeFi Connector in its devices.
SmartKey is the missing piece of the puzzle that connects the world of decentralized finance (DeFi) with the world of physical assets. It is also the world’s first platform that allows you to combine physical value (Blockchain Of Things) with DeFi projects operating on the Ethereum and Waves blockchain.
As a global producer and distributor of consumer electronics and intelligent solutions, Ferguson sells over 300,000 devices globally every year. It will implement the SmartKey DeFi Connector technology in all its SmartHome devices, which are characterized by the use of intelligent solutions, fully configurable to the user’s needs, increasing the comfort and automation of their use. This includes security systems, SmartEye cameras, Wi-Fi video intercoms, smart remote controls or E-mio electric scooters which will all now be compatible with the blockchain system.
