New adult cryptocurrency application, Porn Rocket, has announced it will enter a definitive agreement to acquire intimate.io, an established company specializing in blockchain-related payments systems for the adult industry.
For those who don’t know, Porn Rocket is a cryptocurrency token, currently developing a decentralised adult content sharing application which provides effective copyright protection for content creators, addresses privacy concerns of users, and abolishes hefty fees for sharing content.
Porn Rocket has already accelerated rapidly since launching on May 26th, attracting over 50,000 coin holders, along with some of the world’s most famous adult content creators.
Intimate.io made waves back in 2017, as the world’s first company to offer blockchain payments within the adult entertainment industry.
It is hoped the new acquisition will enable the PornRocket team to leverage what intimate.io has achieved and accelerate the trajectory of becoming the most adopted no-fee adult content platform.
As part of the acquisition, Reuben Coppa, the CEO and Founder of intimate.io, will be joining Porn Rocket as a strategic advisor.
Reuben is an entrepreneur with eight years of experience leading technology start-ups from mobile development to cryptocurrencies.
He is also the founder of Rendevu, an on demand mobile platform facilitating simple, sure, safe and secure provision of adult services in 2016.

The transaction is expected to close by the 15th of July and is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
