MEXC Global Listing Covenant Governance Token
On April 2, 2022, MEXC Global announced the listing of P2E Strategic RPG game Covenant Child’s Covenant Governance Token (COVN). It is the primary currency within the game’s token economy, and what separates COVN from other P2E games’ governance tokens is its flexibility in acquisition and usage. Many P2E games tend only utilize their governance tokens during staking, however COVN is very closely related to Covenant Child’s gameplay. The listing on MEXC helped propel the continued success for the P2E game.

Participation in the NFT, METAVERSE, GAMEFI 2022 Conference in Manila, Philippines
On May 1, 2022, Covenant Child and their CEO, William Meehan, were a featured game and Keynote Speaker at the NFT, METAVERSE, GAMEFI 2022 Conference in Manila, Philippines. The event is regarded as the first-ever and largest NFT, GameFi & Metaverse event to be held in Southeast Asia. Covenant Child received tons of attention as one of the most exciting and promising events at the event.
CEO William Meehan unveiled Covenant Child to the Blockchain and Filipino communities, including the game’s OST, during his keynote speech. Additionally, William spoke on an experts panel highlighting the potential behind P2E Blockchain Gaming.

Leadership Change; William Meehan Appointed as CEO
On May 17, 2022, Co-Founder William Meehan (previously Director of Investor Relations) was asked to take the role of CEO for The Game Changer Limited.
The previous CEO, Chan Han, will be solely focusing on the technology and game development side of The Game Changer Limited’s operations as the company’s CSO.
With the business development experiences received and capabilities learned in international markets such as China, South Korea, and the United States, as well as the leadership he has constantly displayed in every facet of The Game Changer Limited’s operations, CEO William Meehan will oversee all business operations as Covenant Child steadily approaches its global launch.
“William has been an integral part in making Covenant Child what it is today, and I fully support the decision to appoint him as CEO,” CSO Chan Han stated on the role change.
“I am grateful for the recognition of my hard work and leadership by my colleagues. I believe in this project and will continue to put full effort into making Covenant Child the greatest thing to happen to the Blockchain Gaming Industry.
